DiamondIQ is built by FERMLLC Technologies — and behind it is a founder who has stood on every side of youth baseball.

Dr. Félix E. Rivera-Mariani played the game from age six through the Division I college level, and represented Puerto Rico in international youth competition — in the 11–12 Little League and 15–18 categories.

He later coached and managed at the 14–18 youth level: the same age groups DiamondIQ serves today. And he did it while training as a scientist — someone taught to treat data with rigor and care.

That combination is rare: the athlete who lived the developmental path, the coach who filled out the lineup on game night, and the scientist who understands what data can — and shouldn't — do. It's also why DiamondIQ is built the way it is.

Along the way, one gap became impossible to ignore. Elite programs have long had tools to develop players and track progress. Everyday youth programs — the ones raising most of the game's kids — rarely do. DiamondIQ exists to close that gap: to put serious, well-built development tools in the hands of any program, not just the well-resourced few.
